OMP MECHTRON SPA

The Italian office, the headquarters of OMP MECHTRON SPA, is located in Usmate Velate (MB), and it cover a total area of 12.000sqm , divided into three different plants. Usmate Velate is the legal and administrative head office of the entire Group and hosts the sales and marketing offices, purchasing, planning, administrative, and the R&D. The remaining area hosts: the main warehouse for all the goods coming from the different business units; a work assembly for racks, subracks, and mechanical kits; an ESD area focused on the press-fit assembly and back-pannel testing. The NPI department, the electronic integration and cabling departments, a modern Microwave area and the aluminium extrusion working area are also located in Usmate Velate. OMP Italy also has a production plant in Proserpio (Co) that manage the metal sheet working area and the tooling center. Close to the HQ, in Concorezzo (MB), we find Euro Technologies srl, OMP’s partner for EMI-RFI shielding products, as well as for thermal interface materials. In France, near Paris at Rungis Cedex, and in Germany, in Rosenheim, are located two sales offices that works closely with the Italian HQ. They safeguard two local and strategic markets for OMP.

OMP MECHTRON SHANGHAI Co. Ltd.

OMP Mechtron Shanghai was founded in 2009 with the aim to serve the Chinese and the Asian market. The Chinese plant covers a total area of 6.000m2. OMP Shanghai works with telecom, railways, and other specific markets. The Chinese office contains a sales department, an administrative area, a planning & purchasing office, as well as an R&D and an NPI department, all with dedicated monitoring from the Italian HQ. The production area specializes in many activities: mechanical production, electronic integration, press-fit and back-panel assembly, NC milling, and metal sheet working. The Chinese plant also houses a modern area for the mass production of microwave products. The aim is to offer a product that will be vertically integrated; the Chinese partner Elemechtron supports OMP for PCB assembly (PCBA).

OMP MECHTRON MEXICO SA de C.V.

OMP MECHTRON Mexico was born in May 2013 and is located in the Mexican town of Guadalajara. The plant covers a total area of 3.760m2 and is located inside the prestigious Guadalajara Technology Park. It is mainly focused on mechanical production. The production area is equipped with a metal sheet working area, an NC milling machine, a mechanical piece-parts assembly, mig and tig welding, and a spot welding sector.

OMP MECHTRON LLC

OMP Mechtron LLC, is located outside of Columbia, South Carolina in the United States. Founded the same year as the Mexican company, with the aim to increase OMP service to NAFTA markets, it covers an area of 2.100m2.
 Taking advantage of the opportunity for synergy with the mechanical engineering plant in Guadalajara, the South Carolina company is the main partner for wiring and electronic integration. OMP USA’s potential activities are: electronic assembly, assembly of single parts like faceplates and PCBA, electro-mechanical assembly, and LED assembly among others. Other specific capabilities can be spotted in special test on the final product, for example the MPA test and the complex SHOP Test Set.
