Following the opening of the Chinese plant in July 2009, OMP Mechtron is going on with its process of internalization with the new opening of OMP Mechtron Mexico SA de C.V.

OMP Mechtron Mexico SA de C.V was born on May 14th at 1.00pm, Jalisco time, in the Mexican town of Guadalajara. The NewCo is OMP Mechtron answer to the American market.

Aim of the Mexican plant is to give a better support to the market in the North, Center and South America. Production will start on September 2013.

Firstly the core business of the NewCo will be focused on mechanical production, with the objective to reproduce the same skills that characterize European plant in Usmate, the other productive plants in Italy and Chinese plant in Shanghai.

The middle-term objective of Guadalajara plant is to reproduce the same footprint of the other OMP factories that are already present on the market.

The start of the manufacturing activities in September will guarantee the delivery of the first production in October. This new production will help OMP group to supply the American market locally; a market that is characterized to be constantly growing and strongly attractive for new businesses.

From a strategic point of view, the new opening is a very important sign that OMP group is going to take towards a more international direction. For sure this step will create new business opportunities and a lot of visibility with well-established customers as well as with new ones.
